The Nutcracker 2026

December 18-19, Combs Performing Arts Center.

Before signing up, please note:

-All level 1-3 ballet classes and Ballet Ensembles will be given a part with their class in the Nutcracker WITHOUT needing to audition. Auditioning is for an extra group part or featured role.

-Most rehearsals for auditioned roles and some ensemble dances will be Saturday afternoons August-December with dress rehearsal on December 17th, and performances on December 18 & 19. If your dancer cannot be at every assigned Saturday rehearsal, dress rehearsal, and all 4 shows (2 each night) please do not register. *There will be no rehearsals on September 5th, or Thanksgiving weekend (11/28).

-Cost to audition is $120, which covers the extra rehearsal time and costume rental/cleaning.

-Depending on audition turnout, we may not be able to give everyone an extra role, in which case, the audition fee will be credited back to your dancer's account.

-Dancers need to be 7yrs+ by September 1st in order to audition.

ADULTS, ALUMNI, and BOYS (age 7-12): We have a few volunteer performing roles available for adults, Spark alumni, and boys (that are ok with lots of rehearsal time)--no audition or fee required. Please let us know if you're interested!
