Mommy and Me (ages 1-3)
This 45-minute class combines creative movement and beginning dance and tumbling skills to get our littlest dancers prepared to take class on their own. With mom (or dad) at their side, we will work on improving motor skills, agility, & rhythm.
Adaptive Dance Class (3-18)
This 45-minute class is designed specifically for those children with physical limitations due to developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, OR intellectual disability (parents may be required to assist children with physical limitations). In this class, children will learn the dance basics of stretching, rhythm, sensory input, and creative movement adapted to their abilities while also exercising the cognitive and linguistic skills of sustained and selective attention, memory, social turn-taking, and anticipating routines. Combo Class (ages 3-4)
Beginning Jazz, Ballet, Tumbling and Tap will be taught each week in this fun, one-hour class.
Boys Rough and Tumble (ages 3-5)
With a focus on basic tumbling and creative movement, this 45-minute class is a fun way for little boys to develop coordination, rhythm, and strength and get out some of that energy!
Homeschool Ballet & Creative Movement
This class begins with stretching and floor barre, then covers basic ballet steps, jumps, and turns. The second half included exercises and activities for developing creativity, self-expression, musicality, and body awareness.
Ballet positions, technique, and barre and floor exercises will be covered as dancers develop strength, grace, & flexibility. Ballet classes lay the foundation for all other dance styles.
Jazz/Contemporary Dancers will learn two dances (one in each style) to perform at the Spring Recital. Contemporary- Dancers will learn to express themselves and improve their musicality while blending ballet technique with modern movement. Jazz- Our jazz classes enrich and extend students’ technical skills through center and progression work with lively, upbeat movement.
Footwork, timing, and agility are a focal point in this rhythmic style.
These energetic, upbeat classes teach hip hop technique and choreography with no suggestive music/movements. Dancers develop rhythm, coordination, and self-expression.
Proper and safe tumbling technique will be taught, enabling students to progress into more advanced tumbling skills. Students will also learn cheerleading basics, including arm motion techniques, proper posture, jumps and kicks. Dancers will learn an upbeat Pom routine that will showcase their tumbling skills.
Theatrical performance that showcases acting through dance.
Beginning to intermediate dance skills and choreography are provided in this class that serves as a great way to get in shape and increase coordination, strength, and flexibility.
